Upward Basketball and Cheerleading provides a fun environment built around healthy competition for kids, teaching skills for the sports arena and values for life.  If you want to learn more about Upward Sports, visit www.upward.org
 
 
Upward is co-sponsored by First Church of God and Defiance Church of the Nazarene for boys and girls in K – 6th grades.
Registration forms are being distributed in the area schools or at the churches.
 
Preregistration: October 8 – November 4/$57.00
After November 4/$67.00
 
Forms and fees can be dropped off at the First Church of God office 9:00 a.m.—5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
 
Deadline for registration is November 10
 
Basketball shorts and cheerleading mock turtlenecks are optional at a cost of $12.
 
 
Evaluations and orientation: are required and each participant needs to attend one of the following nights at First Church of God:
Monday, November 7, between 6:00—8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, November 8, between 6:00—8:00 p.m.
Thursday, November 10, between 6:00—8:00 p.m.
 
League Schedule:
Practices begin the week of Monday, December 12, 2011
First game is Saturday, January 7, 2012
Awards Celebration is Tuesday, March 6, 2012
